Hampshire Wedding Photographer — Natural, Relaxed & Romantic

Hi, I'm Maddie - a wedding photographer based in Fareham, Hampshire with over 15 years of experience and more than 250 weddings captured across the UK and internationally.

A corporate office job was never for me, and I'm so grateful that I've been able to call photography my job for over a decade. I specialise in natural, candid photography - capturing real moments as they unfold rather than posing everything. My images have a soft, light, romantic quality, and my aim is always to make you feel completely at ease so the photos genuinely feel like your day.

Capturing light, emotion and moments, along with the quiet connections that make life what it is.

Full day wedding coverage starts at £2,500, including everything from getting ready through to the last dance, with a minimum of 400+ professionally edited images. I also photograph branding sessions, corporate events, and family portraits.

I work across Hampshire, the New Forest, Dorset, Surrey, Sussex, Wiltshire and beyond. I love destination weddings too.

Timeless Style

I'd describe my style as natural, relaxed with a soft, light quality. I focus on capturing genuine candid moments — the laughs, the tears, the stolen glances, the little details that make your day yours. I won't boss you around or spend hours on awkward group photos. Instead, I work quietly in the background, letting everything unfold naturally while I capture the real story of your wedding.

I also love creating beautiful, relaxed couple portraits — not stiff or posed, just the two of you enjoying a quiet moment together. Some of my favourite images come from those five minutes when we sneak away from the reception and it's just us and the golden hour light.

Over a Decade of Experience

I have a BA (Hons) Photography Degree from Winchester School of Art (2:1), where I trained in composition, lighting, and visual storytelling. After graduating in 2012, I spent my early career assisting fashion photographers in London — working on editorial shoots, learning to work fast under pressure, and developing an eye for light and detail that I bring to every wedding.

Over the past 15+ years I've photographed more than 250 weddings across Hampshire, the South of England, and destinations across Europe. I've worked at everything from intimate 20-person ceremonies to 300-guest celebrations, in barns, country houses, beaches, and city venues. I shoot with Canon R6 and Canon 5D Mark IV cameras with professional L-series prime lenses, and I always carry full backup equipment.

MY WORLD

The most important thing in my life are my little family.

I am married to the kindest, funniest, most lovely guy called Nick. We met 14 years ago when I joined a photography studio … he worked there as a photo editor. Together we have a little boy called Rupert, who is our world and brightens all our days!

Some other things that make me happy are … my sister, sunshine and blue skies, the flowers in Spring, sandy toes, sound of the sea, Cornwall and Devon beaches, camping adventures with our van, country walks ... and I am rather partial to a few mojitos and a bit of a dance!
