Brympton House Wedding Photographer
Daisy and Patrick went all-in on a winter wedding at Brympton House in Yeovil — and honestly, it suited the place perfectly. Think crisp air, low winter light, and guests ducking inside to warm up by the fire before the ceremony kicked off.
Brympton just works in winter. The historic stone and big Tudor windows give it loads of character without you having to over-style anything. The Great Hall feels impressive but still relaxed, and those fireplaces? Lifesavers in December. It’s the kind of venue where you can keep décor simple — candles, good food, great music — and let the building do most of the heavy lifting.
For Daisy and Patrick, the day felt easy and natural. A heartfelt ceremony in the church on the grounds, drinks flowing in the drawing rooms, and a packed dance floor by the evening. Winter weddings sometimes get a reputation for being quiet or moody, but this one was warm, lively, and full of personality.
Brympton House is a great setting because it doesn’t try too hard. It’s historic without being stuffy, grand without feeling overwhelming, and beautiful in every season — especially when there’s a bit of winter bite in the air. As a Brympton House Wedding Photographer, it is a pleasure working here! If you are considering hosting your wedding at Brympton or nearby, I would love to hear from you.
