EASTINGTON PARK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
There's something about a manor house wedding that just feels right — the sense of history, the beautiful grounds, the feeling of being somewhere truly special — and Eastington Park delivers all of that with a warmth and charm that I absolutely love. It's grand without being intimidating, and the moment you arrive you know you're somewhere extraordinary.
Eastington Park is a beautiful English manor house set in the rolling Gloucestershire countryside, on the edge of the Cotswolds near Stroud. The house is surrounded by gorgeous grounds with manicured gardens, ancient trees, and views across the countryside. It's an exclusive use venue, so the entire house and gardens are yours for the day, giving the whole celebration a really private, personal feel. The house itself has stunning period interiors — think high ceilings, elegant reception rooms, beautiful natural light through large windows, and that quintessentially English country house character. There's a lovely mix of indoor and outdoor ceremony options, with the gardens providing gorgeous settings for outdoor vows when the weather allows.
As an Eastington Park wedding photographer, what draws me to this venue is the quality of light and the variety of backdrops. The house interiors are elegant and warm — perfect for getting-ready shots and intimate moments — while the grounds give you everything from formal gardens for classic portraits to more natural, relaxed settings among the trees and fields. The Cotswolds light has this gorgeous, soft quality that works beautifully with my natural photography style. And because the venue is tucked away in the countryside, there's a lovely peacefulness to the day that really comes through in the photos.
This wedding was a combination of cultures, in a really beautiful setting, on a brilliantly sunny summers day. Shirley and David brought family and friends together from across the globe to celebrate their wedding at Eastington Park in Gloucestershire. Such a bonus that Shirley and David had the whole manor house for just them and their guests. I have had the pleasure of working here a few times and as an Eastington Park Wedding Photographer, I really love the abundance of beautiful backdrops and classic manor house aesthetic.
They chose to have the ceremony in the gardens down on the patio, framed by the pretty pergola, with the sun shining on them through the trees. After the ceremony, guests gathered on the patio up by the house for drinks while we wandered the grounds for couple portraits. The golden hour light across the Gloucestershire countryside was just stunning. Dinner inside the house looked incredible — candles, florals, and that beautiful warm glow of a country house at its best. Flourish and Grace decked the house and gardens in the most stunning florals, and Caroline from The Planning Lounge kept the day running smoothly.
Eastington Park is a venue that feels like a well-kept secret. It doesn't shout — it just quietly delivers the most beautiful setting for a wedding. The combination of the historic house, the gorgeous grounds, and the Cotswolds countryside creates something really special. It's the kind of place where every photo looks effortless because the setting does so much of the work.
