How much does a wedding photographer cost?

Maddie Waters Photography wedding packages start at £2,500 for full day coverage from prep to dancing, including a minimum of 400+ professionally edited images. Destination wedding coverage starts at £3,350 including expenses. Shorter coverage for intimate celebrations is also available on request.

What is your photography style?

Maddie's style is natural, relaxed and romantic. She focuses on capturing genuine moments as they unfold — nothing too posed or forced. Her images have a soft, light quality with a mix of candid documentary shots and polished couple portraits. She also shoots artistic black and white images throughout the day.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes! Maddie is based in Hampshire but regularly photographs weddings across the South of England including Dorset, Surrey, Sussex, Wiltshire and Berkshire. She also loves destination weddings in Europe and beyond — see her destination brochure for details.

How many photos will I receive?

You will receive a minimum of 400+ professionally edited images from your wedding day. All images are edited in Maddie's signature soft, light style with a selection of artistic black and white images included. A sneak peek gallery is delivered within one week of your wedding.

Do you offer a second photographer?

Yes, Maddie can arrange a second photographer for your wedding day if you'd like additional coverage, particularly for groom or partner prep in the morning. She works with a trusted group of colleagues who complement her style perfectly.

Yes, Maddie is fully insured with both public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance. All camera gear is also insured separately. She always carries backup cameras, memory cards, flashes and batteries to every wedding.

What happens if it rains on my wedding day?

Rain very rarely lasts all day! Maddie checks the hourly forecast on the morning of your wedding and can work around the weather. If outdoor photos aren't possible, she embraces the vibe and can use flash for beautiful editorial-style images indoors.

Northbrook Park is one of those venues that takes your breath away from the moment you turn into the driveway. The sweeping approach, the beautifully kept lawns, the peacocks wandering around the grounds — it's grand and romantic but with this wonderful welcoming warmth that puts everyone at ease. Every time I photograph a wedding here, I'm struck by just how much it has to offer.

Northbrook Park is a stunning Grade II listed 18th-century manor house set within 120 acres of countryside on the Hampshire-Surrey border, just outside Farnham. It's an exclusive use venue with a real variety of spaces — the elegant Vine Room for more intimate ceremonies with tall windows and views of the grounds, the impressive Orangery with its glass roof that floods with natural light and seats up to 250 guests, and the most gorgeous walled gardens that are licensed for outdoor ceremonies and blessings. The walled gardens really are something special — beautiful brick walls covered in ivy and climbing roses, lavender borders, and peacocks roaming freely. They're the kind of backdrop that makes couple portraits feel effortless. There are also 10 eco-friendly cottages on site sleeping up to 80 guests, so your nearest and dearest can stay over and make a proper weekend of it.

As a Northbrook Park wedding photographer, I love the flexibility this venue offers. The Orangery is a photographer's dream — that glass roof means you get beautiful, diffused natural light throughout the day, even in winter. It works brilliantly for ceremonies, dinner, and dancing all in one incredible space. And then you step outside into the walled gardens and you're in a completely different world — intimate, romantic, and absolutely perfect for portraits. The grounds beyond offer more options too — the lake, the parkland, the tree-lined paths. You could spend all day photographing here and never run out of stunning backdrops.

Haneef + Puja’s wedding at Northbrook Park was a laid-back summer celebration, with great light pouring through the Orangery for most of the day. They mixed Indian and Western elements in a way that felt natural — a Western ceremony paired with Indian formal wear, which looked beautiful. The ceremony took place in the Vine Room and was followed by a big confetti throw out front, which got everyone involved straight away! Family photos happened in front of the iconic windows while guests headed into the walled garden for where the drinks reception kicked off. From there, things flowed easily into the afternoon, guests spent time in the gardens, with the peacocks wandering around and adding a bit of theatre to the occasion! We stepped away briefly for couple portraits around the gardens, making the most of the soft evening light. Dinner in the Orangery looked great as everything transitioned into the evening, and the speeches brought a good mix of humour and personal stories. Once the party started, it didn’t take long for the dance floor to fill up. The Bhangra DJ kept the energy high all night, and it turned into one of those weddings where people just stayed dancing without much of a break! A really wonderful day from start to finish, with a good mix of atmosphere, style, and plenty of moments in between.

Northbrook Park is a venue that genuinely has something for everyone. It's grand enough to feel really special but relaxed enough that your guests can kick back and enjoy themselves. The combination of the historic manor house, the light-filled Orangery, and those stunning walled gardens gives you incredible variety throughout the day. And its location on the Hampshire-Surrey border makes it easily accessible from London while still feeling like a proper countryside escape.
